The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), which was founded in 1912 in the United States, is a professional medical body who represent Doctors of Podiatric Medicine / Podiatrists. It sets very high standards for its members to adhere to and is also responsible for approving standards of education and training.

The APMA Seal of Acceptance is only granted to foot related products that are found to actively promote Good Foot Health.
